I really don't understand how NY Jets can be 55% to win straight up, and 74% to cover the -3.5 spread. This has to be an error.
ReplyDeleteHe answered this question last week. But, I didn't completely understand his answer. Apparently, he adjusted the ATS picks to compensate for a pro-underdog bias. He left the straight up picks the same. This results in the mismatch.

What is the pro underdog bias? Is it simply that bettors prefer taking dogs?
